- Retroactive Update the Excel template
Follow the steps below tupdate the Excel template:
Number field: Such as “No”, “# of Hours Off”,.. fields
Text/Note field: Such as “Title”, “Details” fields
User field: Such as “Employee” field
Lookup field: Such as “Department”, “Location”, “Type”, “Working Time”,… fields
Yes/No field: Such as “Is All Day” field
Choice field
Multi Choices: Such as Choices, Multi Users or Multi Lookup
Datetime field: Such as “Start Date”, “End Date”,… fields.
Input the text value with the syntax
Date Only: MM/DD/YYYY E.g: 12/20/2023
Datetime: MM/DD/YYYY HH:mm E.g: 12/20/2023 08:30
Format the value as the date
Right click on the value > Format Cells…
Under the Category section > Select Date
Click on Cells & hit Enter tmake sure Excel converts the text tDate
